  Honestly a top tier genre piece, and you can totally see how Emma Stone was going to become a star, but I just hated the premise. Self righteous bible-thumpers always make the best villains (eg. Robert Mitchell in Night of the Hunter), but the overall tone it dictated really annoyed me, even with the humourous angle.

  Well made movie, but when characters constantly make stupid choices they shouldn’t, it really throws me off. Zach and I spent half the movie shouting at the tv because of how much of an idiot Paul is.

  Got to the point where I stopped feeling bad for him because he entirely deserved it. Get your keys and go. You live uptown, not in Connecticut. It’s 5 miles you dickhead.

  As mentioned previously, totally fine with horror and vampires as long as they're sexy. Couple goofy moments aside, this was the perfect blend of camp and cool.
