The Thing is a bit slow at times, but the creature effects make up for it—pure nightmare fuel in the best way. The cornstarch budget must have been outrageous. It’s tense, chilling, and unforgettable. Worth the watch. Thanks to this movie, I will not be traveling to Antarctica any time soon.
