  I think the movie is fascinating especially if you don’t know much about the trial/the protests (which I didn’t). There are soooo many characters so it took a lot of focus at first, but if you’re into dramatized historical retellings it’s very satisfying. In some ways I feel like the movie is only really good because sorkin got lucky with timing in terms of the political moment we’re currently in and the similarly heinous power imbalances that the movie portrayed, but it is really good for that reason too so good for him

  Really good to watch right now and remember John Lewis’s legacy. Well-made documentary using only firsthand footage. Just made me think WOAH he really did so much in his lifetime.
