Took a few days to consolidate my thoughts on this movie and yup... it stinks.
Uninspired, boring and expository dialogue, boring new characters who add almost nothing to the movie, a lame villain and the inaccuracy of The Leader's head shape. I can't say I was expecting much from this movie yet I still find myself profoundly disappointed. Plus the cgi from the moment red hulk shows up just takes a nosedive in quality.
3/10 - movie sucks, and Samuel Sterns should've had a crazy large cranium.

I have a profound (and a tiny bit irrational) love for this movie.
I watch this movie every year on Christmas Eve. Which is strange, because I wouldn't necessarily call this a "great" movie but I find it so endlessly charming. Every character just oozes charisma, from Santa's loud but lovable personality to Jack Frost's penchant for goofy, childish fun. I've never felt such an aggressive abuse of my time before in my life. Why did I spend so much time watching his dickhead kid be a dickhead and then meet a stupid whale? Why was 90% of this 3hr movie a dumb slice of life from the perspective of characters I literally couldn't care less about? Why was the best character from the first movie (Neytiri) sidelined for the entire runtime?
