Compared to the previous film, it was a letdown, though it did have its charms. I actually quite liked the fact that it was a musical and thought it fit in well. However, the movie felt like nothing significant happened, with the plot only really progressing at the very end. This approach can work if done correctly, but in this case, it was not.
This movie didn't really need to be made.
