  The movie was so engrossing. The plot got thicker (deeper) as the movie ran. I can see why there were so many stars in it. Jack Nickolson was frightening real - as he played the mob boss. So unpredictable. Frightening.

  My stars don’t reflect the movie/story. From the movies perspective, it was a wonderful musical. The dancing was crazy great. Such talent. The music was energetic and lively. My main struggle was Richard Gere. I just struggled with his role in the movie. He didn’t fit!

  Death family has a commercial fishing business. The daughter can hear and the family counts on her for signing - too much responsibility put on her. Her talent is singing. The family decides to stop being screwed by being under paid and start their own fishing coop. 
  She eventually gets into Berkeley school of music with the duet with her classmate.
