The latest Bridget Jones film feels a bit lacklustre and kind of boring, yet somehow gets away with it because it’s Bridget Jones?
That said, it still captures the essence of Bridget, bumbling through life with charming mishaps at every turn. Emma Thompson’s as a no-nonsense gynaecologist is a standout, and the fact Hugh Grant’s Daniel Cleaver is still a slut all those years later haha .
I appreciated that Bridget has grown, she’s a wiser, more self-assured and evolved version…

Loved this. Anora is a wild, exhilarating ride, blending sharp comedy with a refreshingly grounded portrayal of sex work. It’s Pretty Woman with a semblance of reality. Ani, delivers a captivating mix of vulnerability and strength, whilst Vanya is the perfect bratty Russian kid. What stood out most is Ani’s unwavering dignity; no matter the chaos around her, she rolls with the punches and won’t take pity from a family who tried to belittle her. A brilliantly acted romp that’s equal parts entertaining and moving.
