The art in this is gorgeous. Everything looks so grungy and dirty, and I love how the light rays and smoke is scribbled on to really sell the aesthetic. The character design of the humans made me think of background characters in Rick and Morty - everyone’s very unique and looks kind of odd. Loved it.

I’ve seen Titane which was also by Julia Ducournau so I knew this would be a bit of an odd one. But I enjoyed this a lot more than I did Titane. It’s gripping, suspenseful, and delivers a lot in just over an hour and a half.
Really well acted and directed, just very well made all around. There are some really disgusting moments which make you want to look away, but you just can’t.
