Great story though the ending didn’t seem like an ending. The momentum dropped off in my opinion, then it just ended. Great acting however!

Didn’t know much about this movie beforehand. Though it is an adaptation and suited for adjustments, this movie was pretty well done with a solid cast.

Frank Darabont delivers with this film, perhaps my favorite Darabont film. Alongside Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman, Shawshank Redemption shows many elements of life that any viewer can take away from the film. Friendship, hope, justice, you name it, the film dives into the concept of the opportunities that one can get from who they hang around with. It is okay to be alone, to a certain extent, exploring new paths of life is the best way to “get busy living” rather than “get busy dying.”
