I really enjoyed the concept and Patterson's range. The duplicate stuff was interesting and handled well.

Second watch, but first since having seen the animated series.

It lacks just about everything that makes the series good—the vibes, the gritty style, the tension, the kink—but itself feels distant enough to not really taint or be tainted by these omissions.

It does nothing wrong, but doesn't excel at anything either.

The premise has problems. The acting is rough. It's cheesy as hell.

But it's one of the most entertaining works I've seen in a while. It's goofy in wonderful ways. While the sex itself is just alright, it's still engagingly erotic. But most of all it's *weird*. From the first sex scene, and all the strange, abstract, unexplainable details to it, I knew I was in for a trip. And it continued to deliver throughout, in odd, novel ways every time.

I was smiling and laughing—and aroused—through the whole thing. It may have even ruined 'normal' porn for me.

Looking forward to the 4K release...

    There is still time

And I needed it—It took some time for this to really set in for me.

At each of the last few scenes, I found myself thinking "please don't end here..." Eventually it did. Which left a certain unsatisfying emptiness, but on reflection was the very impact it needed.
