Every distributor that refused to release this should beg forgiveness. Every IDF soldier must be tried at their own Nuremberg. And I hope every settler finds themself at the other end of their gun someday.

Thank you to Bryn Mawr Film Institute and every other theater near me showing this film.

As a native Floridian, idolizing St. Petersburg as paradise is so fucking funny. James Franco's monologue was incredible.

Also, am I allowed to call this soundtrack nostalgic now?

Hackjob editing and some really clunky writing mar what is otherwise a surprisingly decent plot, especially considering how far the MCU has fallen. A few nice character moments and a logical setup for what is to come. There is a much better movie hiding here, and it is really frustraing that all hundreds of millions of dollars can do is fuck up any chance of it being seen.

I think there's some recovery from this, but none of those clueless executives deserve it. I'm just glad I don't feel like my time was completely wasted.

But if that wasn't enough, there was a different guy in the audience who eventually decided to keep goading him to keep shouting by repeating what he said. It was miserable and it took everything in my power to not leave the theater or report…
