anyone who’s ever found themselves behind a camera knows how much vulnerability and intuitiveness it takes to sit in a moment until it becomes magic. there is an otherworldly sensibility to remaining one step ahead of someone you’ve just met, while also embracing them with full empathy in the moment. it’s because KJ is so in tune with this reality that her work becomes an incredibly beautiful display of self-reflection. this will stick with me for a long time.
