  Wildly uneven. Not a scathing criticism of capitalism and labor exploitation. In fact, it seems to endorse incrementalism and faith in institutions - bong joon ho's earnest style comes off as naïve. And the multiple deus ex machinas saving assholes from death... Big eyeroll. But yah I liked it anyway.
