First Eggers movie!
Was impressed with the cinematography, how he was able to capture darks very well, and how true the set design was to the period (or at least seemed to be)
Also was impressed how he was able to keep me frightened, he made me care about the characters and kept me in suspense to see if they would live or die
The acting was pretty good.

I loved this movie, or at least 90% of it.
First thoughts
Things I liked:
- The production design was fantastic.
- The story was rich and multi
- While a bit shaky in the very beginning Emma Stone's performance grew into a great one as time went on. Her reactions upon listening to music for the first time in Lisbon for instance were note perfect imo
- Willem Dafoe and Mark Ruffalo were both great.
