    The fleetingness of life is a call to action, one that not all are strong enough to answer, especially the youth, who live under the fallacious assumption that time is plentiful. It's also a call to take stock, to chance freedom from earthbound chains that now seem weightless. The march of time is unceasing and spares no one, from two youths on the cusp of coming into their own, to their ephemeral, emancipated companion, to a passing island ferryman. Recognition of certain immutable constraints can itself be liberation.
