Promising Young Woman 2020
Although the start of the film comes across like the “top” section of r/shitmensay, it’s well worth holding on to the end as the last two acts are some of the best in recent memory. A dark comedy with an obvious feminist edge, the film expertly toys with our emotions and expectations. Fans of “sorry to bother you” will find something to enjoy here.
