I just got done watching this movie, and stepping back to review Blue Velvet. It’s because that review encompasses my feelings on Lynch, this review will be shorter. Probably. In summary, the pop culture view of Lynch sensationalizes his eccentricity at the cost of everything else that made him great. It’s as if his loudest fans stopped after Eraserhead and Twin Peaks via tiktok clips.
