I’ll start this review off from a quote from a friend:
“If you don’t like musicals, then this won’t change your mind.”

That being said, I have a soft spot for musicals and I finally get to see what all the hubbub is about.

I guess the big thing is that I wasn’t majorly blown away by it. Being that I’m not the target demographic, (that being female Broadway enjoyers and die hard Wizard of Oz fans). But I quite liked what I saw and enjoyed it for what it is.

I see where some of the inspiration from Silent Hill 2 comes from.
Also, I have a friend who recommend this not be my first David Lynch movie…

Not saying, I should’ve listened to them, but hey, we’re here now.

Good movie is good. The only part I don’t like is Jeanie Bueller’s sudden motivational change from trying to bust Ferris, to helping him. (Goddamnit my film student is showing)

I don’t care what anyone else says. This is a classic! And if anyone tells me otherwise, they’re just blatantly wrong.
