I needed this film—a film about love in a materialistic world within the Chinese immigrant diaspora and how that love is weaved throughout our experiences. This film makes me think about what has happened and what will happen in my own life. It makes me think about who has loved me, how much they have loved me, and when I’ll meet someone who will love me the way these two love each other.
