It's fine.
First half was fun, second half wasn't great.
Kamala and her family, in the TV show and movie, are one of the better parts of this MCU era. She's got Spider-Man energy.
The villain was pretty bad as is tradition in the MCU. It's hard to feel bad for the Kree when they are, for the most part, total dickheads in every appearance. Need more chill Kree for that to work.

I realized I had this rated below some MCU movies that weren't nearly the achievement this movie was as a culmination to a decade long film project.
Since I try and rate movies on what they're trying to be/what genre they fit, this has gotta be at the top.
Might do a full MCU rewatch to try and figure out my order as a project no one asked for, no one will care about, and that I will end up hating halfway through.
I don't really like this movie, but I dislike its film bro fans way more.
Trying to discuss not liking this film always seems to end with someone acting pretentious and telling you "you just don't get it," then sending a link to someone else's interpretation instead of providing their own thoughts (with no sense of irony).
Liking this film doesn't make you smarter than everyone else, it just means you like this film.
Anyway. Lynch is obviously a skilled filmmaker and I’m not opposed to surrealism, but this just isn’t for me.
