  cried a couple times during and another couple minutes after the film </3 the evolution of sophie and frances’ friendship was so beautiful to watch, such a grounded depiction of intimacy as rendered by the tension that emerges from both geographical distance and personal differences. that entire weekend in paris coupled with the phone call to sophie beat and i mean BEAT up my heart like a tenderizer to a piece of meat that is being prepped for marination.. perhaps…
