i don't have the extensive or enough knowledge about films and the art of cinematography, so take this with a grain of salt.
i love the parallels, the way kogonada allows the dialogue of a different scene to continue even when another clip is playing. the story itself is quite mellow, at least for me, and the progression is wonderful. movies with less intense action puts me at ease.
