  Despite the pain she carried, she still tried to find beauty, to stay soft and kind in a world that wasn’t.. Her life itself became her poetry.

  This was so heartwarming and touched my heart deeply. Especially the kindergarten scene and when she said “Do you love me? Do you love me as much as I love you? You never say so, but..” agrim

  It felt nostalgic to me, and I kept wondering how much more meaningful and nostalgic it must be for Kawase herself as she revisits these memories through her film.
