Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song 1971
There are no words to describe just how devastatingly good this movie is, it has to be watched to be fully appreciated.
Some of the best editing I've ever seen, the soundtrack is also phenomenal and lends itself well to the overall tone and pace of the film. Melvin Van Peebles never fails to deliver imo, he is one of the Great Artists of our time and I will be forever devastated he is gone.
