Where do I begin with this rotten pile of garbage. Bob Dylan, hero to the rude, selfish and corrupt is presented as a young up and comer, playing the good intentions of Seeger and Guthrie. Seeger is a sole bright spot in the film, played lovingly by Norton. However, the scenes with Guthrie in the hospital were too scary. In particular a scene where a janitor drops a bucket made me jump and took me right out of the film.…

It would’ve been great to release this film in 2022 on the same day the original was released. But that would’ve been too easy for Robert Eggers. This guy seems to like making things that are difficult and hard. The scenes were very nicely shot with nice lighting and effects in. Accurate costumes. Unfortunately, it was set in German, but everyone was speaking English, which took me right out of the film. In addition, it was missing any spirit or…
