This is a super dark and ultimately cynical horror thriller that was clearly inspired by Woman in the Dunes. This scientist, I can't remember what his specialty is, but he gets lost while hiking and wanders into some isolated pit area where the only access in or out is by an extended ladder. That ladder is removed by some tribal psycho kids and he finds himself stuck with some mysterious woman with a sketchy history. As the title suggests, there's…

You're a sick man, Viljar Bøe. I'm sure you'd take it as a compliment. This movie starts out weird and kind of funny in a Norwegian way, but it eventually descends completely into the realm of sadism where I couldn't believe how lacking in self-preservation characters had. It was Eden Lake levels of frustrating. What a cynical and nasty ending.

This movie is a brutal metaphorical reminder that we could all end up good boys or girls if we allow the ultra-wealthy to get away with whatever they want if we don't stand up to them.

A throwback to old school Ozploitation, the violence is dense and unrelenting in this one. All one needs to know is there’s a dead daughter, a pissed off father, and a bunch of thugs that need to get got. From the very beginning to the end it’s non-stop scenes of fist fights, bludgeoning, stabbing, choking, and torture in a manner that’s purely primal.

The movie does take occasional time outs to establish some back story and give a little character…
