In the beginning, the two characters are seen as 'hard work vs. Talent'. Fujino struggles with her indifference with Kyomoto at first, however their friendship developed into something far beyond.
The sound design helped immerse the audience in the events that take place both emotionally and as outsiders to another's grieve. Silence where one would expect to find comfort in a sombre tune is what brought about the realistic, bitter truth; life doesn't have a soundtrack…
