The nicest thing you can say about it is the vibes and the style are terrific, and Nic Cage is great of course, but the actual investigation part is undercooked and the ending/last 20 minutes are a bit stupid and ruin the whole thing for me.
I take it all the hype and great reviews were written in people’s heads before the third act.
