A Quiet Place Part II 2020
A solid follow up but I still felt slightly cheated. The movie is a little over 1 /12 hours long yet the first 10 to 15 mins was basically a repeat whilst the story just ends without conclusion- hence number 3. The stars of the show are without doubt the x2 kids and their development is well depicted. Plenty of tension and scares which still makes this entertaining without being anything special.

Long Shot 2019
I shocked myself at how much I enjoyed this comic romcom. OK, just looking at Theron is worth 2 stars but Rogen is the star of the show and there is good chemistry between the leads. Some great comic lines and marvellous music score I found myself loving the supporting cast of characters. I moved from 3 1/2 stars to 4 because it was such an entertaining feel good movie, and that is rare today.

Killers of the Flower Moon 2023
A profoundly tragic true story and full credit to Scorsese for bringing this shameful piece of American history to the masses. I accept the movie is very long and is told primarily from Ernest Burkharts perspective rather than the investigative process or perhaps, even more significantly, from the Osage viewpoint. But this remains story telling of the very highest calibre and I didn't see the time go by because I was so engrossed. A modern masterpiece from a veteran director, it may be many more years before we see the likes of again.
