This movie is well acted and well made. And dammit, it is entertaining.
But yikes, this movie has no idea what it wants to be. Is it a movie about the dangers of sensational journalism? Sometimes! Does it also for some reason end on title cards that seem to indicate that being the first network to air a live terrorist attack was/is good? Yes
It dips its toes into the waters of grappling with interesting themes, but it never ceases…
