Had been looking forward to this because we’ve had Sophie Thatcher season tickets since the first season of Yellowjackets and she does not disappoint.
Jack Quaid has a young Tom Hanks aura about him that makes him so easy to root for even when you want to see his character die
This doesn’t live up to part 2 but honestly very few movies do.
Olivia Colman and Antonio Banderas are having so much fun in this and it made me have so much fun watching.
The first and only time I ever saw the original Nosferatu was with my stoner friends. They put on Downward Spiral and played it along with the movie and it could have been the secondhand smoke but it was such a fun experience.
I can acknowledge that between the lighting, set design, costumes, and amazing performances Nosferatu 2024 is probably a much better movie but I did not have a good time.
I know it’s been sad but this movie has ruined biopics for me forever and I love just about everything about it - especially the music - reading the oral histories about how they wrote all the music just made me appreciate it even more.
As someone who grew up in Naked Gun, my favorite parts of this movies are all the little dumb joke lines.
Also Tim Meadows steals almost every scene he is in.
