  Seen in 35mm. I’ll start off by saying that I’ve seen Taxi Driver oh Idk maybe 30 times in my life, but seeing it in theaters felt like I was seeing it for the first time. Something about the  completely immersive experience and Bernard Herrmann’s hypnotic score.

  I get it now, after Stanley Kubrick directed the moon landing, he makes a movie about a corrupted government. It all makes sense now.

  The Treasure of the Sierra Madre 1948

  ★★★★½ Rewatched 16 Jan 2018

  I had a blast seeing this in the theater. It was presented in its original aspect ratio which gave the film an authentic touch almost as if it had just been released. I feel ashamed I haven't seen more of John Huston's movies. Very entertaining. The Treasure of the Sierra Madre is a must watch.
