I forgot how wild this movie is. The soundtrack is gold 👌 at one moment it’s hard rock and the next we’re in the Shire. Some of the music doesn’t really fit the tone at all like the melodramatic Celtic music when Jo is trying to save Dorothy and literally about to get hit by a flying cow. I think the music choices though are all part of what makes this movie fantastic. Meanwhile, I’m just standing on my porch watching the tornado fling tree branches and knocking down trees with a cup of coffee in my hand.

A Different Man 2024
Left me speechless and a bit depressed. Stan’ and Pearson’s performance was excellent! There was a lot of fluff in the movie, kind of felt a bit “day in a life” style, and the plot suffered a bit for that reason. The cinematography was phenomenal for what they were going for, there were some times it felt like it was recorded on a flip phone, but somehow this felt intentional. Ultimately, worth a watch if you’re in the mood. The three descriptors I would use for this film are: uneasy, identity and thought-provoking.
