In the Mood for Love 2000
In The Mood For Love is an excellent meditation on adultery and how it affects those not doing the cheating. The dialogue is great, and there were a few scenes where I really geeked out at how good it was. Really tightly written, with every line having its purpose, this is one you really have to pay attention to. And not just because it’s in Chinese. The cinematography is great, and reminds me I need to rewatch the Nerdwriter about it.

Knives Out 2019
If Rian Johnson only makes Mystery movies for the rest of his career, we will all be better off for it. This was a really fun movie to watch and even more fun to talk about afterwards. Highly recommend.
