On the Waterfront 1954
I have avoided this film for all of these years and I don't know why. Marlon Brando shocked audiences with his completely real, inarticulate, and physical performance. This film is shot in a film noir style (using a very dark undertone lighting) and one of the first movies that has a real method style of acting. Just a great Hollywood classic.
