  Exceptional from start to finish and one of the smartest scripts in a long time.  This one is best viewed not knowing anything going in. The twists and reversals are so well set up and executed you can’t help but have a great time with it.

  Beetlejuice 2 attempts to recapture the magic of the original, but unfortunately, falls flat due to its convoluted story. Instead of the quirky charm and straightforward narrative that made the first film a classic, this sequel gets lost in a tangled web of subplots and confusing character arcs. The plot meanders aimlessly, making it difficult to stay engaged or care about the characters.

  Alien: Romulus 2024

  A potentially great Alien movie is downgraded to a very good one where most of it is Fede doing his thing, mainly Don’t Breath in space.  And for 100 mins or so it’s a wild ride, not quite 40 miles of bad road but close enough.  The last 20 or so, feel like Ridley wanting to stamp his ideas on the franchise.  The problem being Cameron’s authority and genius is too embedded in the psyche of movie goers. Get over it Ridley, Jim’s the king of the universe.
