Marcel the Shell with Shoes On 2021
really well made film. a heartwarming & breaking somber meditation on life, death and community, a total technical masterwork of the Chiodo Bros with animation direction by Kirsten Lepore, this film really impressed me and has stuck with me very heavily.

this film feels very ahead of it's time to me considering that they started shooting the movie before 9/11
this movie is sort of part exploring a character who is basically someone's worst traits amplified to 11, and then flipping it on it's side and also showing that people who try to look like they have it "together" usually don't.
