A great movie about how the french are lazy drama queens and Germans are evil robots
Probably the best part is the slow release of information, and how you slowly learn about the wife. I have trouble remembering all the of the start for some reason.. but it really does keep you guessing about the nature of their relationship. The theme of two people seeing the same events in their relationship entirely differently is interesting, and I wish the plagiarism…

Poor things… more like poor me
Just unfocused, shallow, weirdly focused on sex but without anything interesting to say, and so ham fisted with its themes/ideas. Great job making all the characters out of cardboard, especially out protagonist whose main motivation seems to be ‘girlboss’. Made worse by the fact it starts with some potential + and interesting idea and then not doing anything cool with it. Really nice visuals though and interesting progression of cinematography, but really grating yet…

So great analyzing a relationship and what it means for the two people in it… colm so unsatisfied with his life as a whole and paderic so truly dependent on this relationship for day to day happiness and unable to reconcile its loss for just being himself
Perhaps the most interesting choices though are Siobhan + dominic’s- two different reactions to being surrounded by people you’re unsatisfied with
