  i didn't expect to laugh so much! i was hootin and hollerin and yellin!!

  Had a rly sad day and needed something scary but not devastating and THIS IS IT folks!!! tongue-in-cheek campy gory "cabin in the woods" vibe but with a final girl that had my jaw on the floor

  ("You never want to do anything interesting anymore" is when i knew this movie would be a new fave)

  okay upon rewatch this movie is perfect. obsessed with the main character, surprised by how much I relate to her. the ending is still devastating even though I knew what was coming--in some ways, it made the movie more tragic. If this movie was not from Pauline's perspective, she would be the villain, a terrifying teen and potential serial killer. But from her perspective, she is just a teen who has been asking for help and love and knows what she needs and wants and will never ever get it in her current environment. Gut-wrenching, gorgeous, harrowing.
