I belong to the select group of people who claim that this is the funniest move ever made.
Rob Reiner gets the comedic mockumentary style just right (directing himself as the director), the cast is perfect - and the whole film is so hilariously quotable, I wouldn't even know where to start.
On a personal note, I fully understand if many viewers find the behaviour of a dimwitted and spoiled rockband exaggerated. But if you ever spent time on the…

Marcel the Shell with Shoes On 2021
A strange, little, very quiet film - much like a children's story for adults, following the adventures of the titular creature and his naïve and philosophical musings on life.
The mockumentary setting and the storyline of Marcel's quest for his lost family almost feels superfluous. The movie seems to be mostly concerned with the character himself.
It's a matter of taste whether a full-length movie about a tiny stop-motion animated creature puttering about appeals to you. I did not find it engaging as such, but it's a pleasant watch, offering quirky humour and moments of good-natured warmth.Translated from by

Possession 1981
The buzz still surrounding this is true: This is one of the strangest films you will ever see.
Starting out as an overwrought marriage-in-crisis melodrama (reminiscent of Polanski's insufferable "Bitter Moon"), it soon bursts across genres from philosophical surrealism to occult monster horror.
Adjani's iconic breakdown has acheived cult status, but overcranked performances abound - not least Heinz Bennent as Anna's deliriously physical first lover.
In the midst of scenes of visceral jealously and horror, the deliberately unnatural dialogue dips…Translated from by -
Kinds of Kindness 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
As a Lanthimos fan, I was surprised that neither of the three stories fully managed to engross me.
The first lacks relatable characters. The second is probably the best - classic, dark Lanthimos tale, but let down by a tired "is he, or isn't he mad?" trope ending. Emma Stone carried the final story perfectly, though it was slightly too sprawling for an episode and might have worked better as a full-length feature.
Lots of Lanthimosian weirdness and bizarre dialogue,…Translated from by
