  I watched this the first time at about 20 after having illegally downloaded it. Lowest of low quality on the tiniest cube that would play on my screen. Didn't like it.

  18 years later and I think I've found an appreciation for it. Though it does start a little slow things do pick up once they get to the ship. The Count comes to shore as the plague and he's almost more a force of nature than monster.

  I would have thought this would have resonated better with my generation. So many millennials are trying to break the cycle of abuse inherited from previous generations.

  This movie is all about that, and how even if you struggle as hard as you can you can still invite the trauma you inherited upon your family.

  Decent body horror though occasionally hard to see. I'd recommend it.

  This was funnier than I expected it to be. Old people doing black magic about as well as they deal with technology. There's some decent horror moments but this film lives in it's comedy
