  Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom 2023

  The stakes were extremely high but then the storyline wasn’t as solid as intended. The whole “brothers excursion” thing delivered but then at the expense of other characters. Mera was crucial to the story but she felt like a featured character…. In fact the Crab warrior had more lines than her. 

  The humour and jokes in this film were an absolute TRASH! Cringe! And just not fitting to the script. Ocean Master was perfect. This film felt more like his story, and he was given a better closure than most.

  It’s an okay closure.

  Blue Beetle 2023

  Xolo was meant for this role. He was absolutely fantastic. The acting was good. Writing too norh. I was a little worried about this being another comic book movie with a cringey dialogue but I was met with a story that has a lot of heart.

  You can try to make some little bit of connection with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movies and some of the Ant-Man films, but the director with this one was able to blend those elements  so well to create something fresh with substance. I love-LOVE the diverse casting.

  One thing about Paul W. S. Anderson, he will make a loud, heavy, action-packed movie with his wife being a badass.

  Milla Jovovich and Tony Jaa were amazing. When they first met and had to fight each other, I thoroughly enjoyed their fight scene despite it being filled with unnecessary jump cuts. I was, somehow, disappointed at the characters that were killed off - the ones who arrived with Artemis in that monster world as I would have loved to…
