  i’d give it a 4.5 if the entire human cast was replaced with more memorable and relevant people 
  but also it highlighted that the main protagonists are the apes i guess. ugh aside from the few cliche lines, the conflict was so beautiful and caesar as a leader is so well rounded. 🦍🦧🐎
  also weird cuz it’s like the last of us + the walking dead apocalyptic world but atst apes are randomly super smart, the pandemic situation didn’t really set well in the beginning like-
  but i enjoyed it v much teehee

  okkkkkk i expected SO much [i’d been saving this movie for a good cry night] & wine makes me so much more empathetic to a movie but it was just so so distant to me

  i thought it was the best thing to watch rn as i dread moving back to my home home next month but maybe if i’d watched it for the first time 5 years ago before boston it would’ve hit more??

  like i literally only felt 💔…
