  I love to show this movie to people because it is really good and also because I am always afraid that one day i will wake up from my fever dream and realize that this movie actually doesn't exist and people will be like dude wtf are u talking about there is no movie about someone swimming home down a river of thier friends pools that is actually an allegory for the failure of suburban america and of the modern man

  a feast for the (fish) eyes and the (licked) ears and the (dissected) mind
  u have never seen a movie like this

  this was by far my most anticipated film of the year (the favorite is a masterpiece and yorgos lanthimos is one of the best contemporary directors and also i read this book) and it doesn't disappoint (although maybe a bit bloated and rough around the edges)

  the film does away with the books framing devices and multi perspective…
