Saint Maud 2019
What scares us about death? Is it the lights going out? Or is it the decay beforehand? Or simply the loneliness?
I now fear all these things and also the Voice of God. Which if you haven’t heard is bloody terrifying.
This is an interesting debut that dances around a bit, isn’t always as sure of itself as it appears, but will give you a shake if you fancy one.

David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet 2020
Never has a film been more prescient. If its message is not heard and actioned then we all die. Which would be bad.
Blending beautiful images of life on our planet with horrendous images of death on our planet. It's another powerful warning we may chose to ignore.
There's an extra layer of pathos when tied to the life of Sir David Attenborough, a life long advocate of wild things and places. He may soon be another thing we lose forever, let's at least carry on his legacy.

Inside Story: Mini
A beautiful sketch of a life ready to go in one of two ways.
As psychiatrists, teachers, social workers and parents sift through Mini's mind and compulsions - we also wonder what is so entoxicating about the flames?
