The story and writing are generally incomplete and feel scrapped together. There were a few really stunning moments narratively, but most of it was bad. Pacing was very elegant though at times became boring. The physical violence/gore was silly and mostly not worth having. Was disappointed in the mostly lackluster use of technology and online communication, but the visual presentation of it was pretty unique and mostly worked. Mostly everything looked really great, a lot of variety but always a constant high visual quality. The lead girl can’t act, the few times she talked extensively felt like everything really fell apart.

It felt a lot like a Grandrieux movie, but it doesn’t work as well. Grandrieux’s ability to capture the sublime and symbolic comes through visual abstraction, mainly through grainy low quality video and a visual reliance on darkness.
