  Fun watch, but lowkey hate that the cannibal tribe are kinda reduced to these alien/monster creatures. Not arguing to humanize the cannibals, BUT, a more nuanced antagonizing force than “ooo scary native Americans” would have sat with me better.

  With every shot of this film you truly feel the spaces these characters inhabit. Their dwellings, chambers, and caverns a reflection of themselves, and their stories. Throughout the film we are immersed in the feelings, activities, and spirits that fill these spaces. Breathtaking. Just straight fucking vibes!

  Adrian Brody’s sweaters had me in a chokehold throughout. This is a fabulous addition to his body of work. Brody continues to amaze me with his empathetic, raw, and vulnerable performance in this.
