NE ZHA 2 certainly goes all out.

One of the few times where the problem was me and not the movie. So many things going on from every part of the frame; a barrage of characters fighting it out, an overwhelming amount of beautiful color, and a huge improvement in character arcs.

Completely understandable how this made so much money becoming peers with the biggest MCU films because it is of the same scale; it is a peer.

Not gonna lie, I got reminded of LeBron James when watching this, because we really just don't appreciate what we have until it's gone.

And those fucking villagers turned on my boys like they were monsters-- YOU MADE THEM MONSTERS YOU HAGS!!

Kinda in love with Gitling. Uses subtitles in a manner I've never seen before and they do it in a really cool way btw.

Most of the time I don't really see the subtitles though because I was really far but it didn't matter because I understood almost everything.

Gitling is tender and lonely but also filled with company and softness. Grounded and home. Bacolod in the screen looks beautiful and dark but-- nostalgic.

Two souls intertwining and getting close. That's my type of movie. All day.

I must admit. The cinematography is impressive. This gets a better rating simply because it's a Philippine movie and it was a fun watch.

    "Shit happens. Sometimes randomly."

This is undoubtedly my favorite Filipino movie of 2019. I expect nothing from Marco Gumabao, and he did pretty damn well. Anne Curtis has a massive amount of sex appeal. But, the cinematography and the pacing really gets me here. The film knows what it's doing, and for a generic cheating plot, it gave something quite pleasant to watch.

Also, that one Anne Curtis scene. Come on. That's just. Too good. Kudos to the screenplay.
