This felt very disjointed, which made the viewing as a whole unsatisfying. Interesting piece of horror / folk horror history, but not something I find myself really captivated by.
My sludge metal/grind band played a show at this crust punk house venue, and it was the start of spring (which basically gets hot as fuck fast in Atlanta). We were second to play and the show was taking place outside, so I could tell the mosquitos and bugs would want to fuck me up. I let my band mates know that I’m going to the convenience store across the street, and my bassist joins me for the trek there…

The premise for this film is genuinely interesting, but unfortunately this wasn't executed that well. The pacing is often sluggish and the plot feels like it meanders for a majority of the runtime. Amari Cheatom definitely stole the show for the few moments he was allowed to shine, and when he returns for his final scene possessed by the demon, it's definitely the highlight of the film as a whole.
