Better Man 2024
The music set pieces are great, particularly Rock Dj, and there’s enough in it to keep you entertained. But I’m not a biopic fan and my interest in Robbie Williams as a pop star is pretty thin. I don’t like the cliched, shallow attempts at brushing over the “bad bits” (coke habit, daddy issues, infidelity) which are always used as plot telling devices as the hurdles our protagonist must overcome. It’s boring and gets drawn out!
